I was at Jason’s Briss and watched him grow up with my two Sons who are the same age asvJadon and Eddie. The boys spent much time growing up in my home; Donna and Sheldon have been my best friends over 55 years. I have wonderful memories of Jason’s birthday parties and pictures of all the boys together. My deepest sympathy for this huge loss to all of us.

I remember Jason as a doting father always swimming with his 3 children in the pool in Boca and playing football with his boys on the beach. It always looked like he loved playing with them and they loved being with him.

My fondest memories of Jason are from our youth. We lost touch for a period time after I moved to Arizona, but 4 years ago I was fortunate to spend time with Jason and his family in Chicago. Although several years had past, our bond was Unchanged. We reminist about Our visit to New York City…a night I will never forget!
Jason was attending Adelphi college in New York and I was with my father on a weekend trip. Jason came to visit me at our hotel. On the way up to the room we were mistaken for Rob Lowe and Emilio Estavez by the elevator lady at the Plaza. After signing her autograph book, which was loaded with famous signatures, we headed out for the night. We lost what little money we had at a pool hall, and had to run from a cab to get back home. We were laughing the whole way back. When we arrived….we ordered room service which was served to us in the basement dining room. It was 3:00 am. The dining room was closed, except for one table that was miticulously adorned with a candelabra, linens, and 2 silver place settings. The night manager welcomed us to our table and as he started up the staircase turned to us and said, “Gentlemen, I understand you had a late night. Enjoy your meal…its on the house.” Jason and I could hardly contain ourselves for we had no idea how we were going to pay for the food. After we finished our cheeseburgers…we got in the basement service elevator to head back up to our room. The elevator stopped on the first floor. Not wanting to be seen….Jason and I hid with our backs against the interior buttons of the elevator. We heard 2 female hotel employees gossiping about Rob Lowe and Emilio Estavez staying in the hotel. We were frantic to get the elevator door to close before we were found. To our relief it did and we fell to the floor in agony from our laughter.
Jason had a way of turning a night out into a life long memory. I’ll miss that.
I love you Jay!

I have several memories of Jason but the one that come to mind so clearly was his smile and how he and his brother Eddie enjoyed each other so much. Blessings and love to the entire Stone family. Love, The McInerney’s
